SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION STORIES
page 2
Coda:She has a very happy story, believe me. She goes to the dog park practically every day. When I'm working, my neighbor takes her there and then keeps her till I get home from work. When I'm off on weekends, I take her and Mandy to the park. She has a nice size backyard with a doggie door; she can come and go as she pleases. She gets treats all the time and loves people (especially other kids) and other animals. She is wonderful. My animals are like my children. Thank you for caring about them even after they find homes.
Daisy: Adopted March 30, 2006: We are happy to say that Sophie(now Daisy) is doing very well. We already had a Sophie in the family so we named her Daisy May. She has become a wonderful addition to our family. She has a favorite spot on the couch and prefers our bed to the floor @ bed time. She is under my desk right now b/c she goes where mommy goes and doesn't go to sleep until I do. I have a brindle shadow named Daisy! I have included some pictures of her on her favorite spot and some pictures of her with our cat, Sophia, and our other dog, Brosius. She is so sweet and you can tell all she wants to do is be loved. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of her until we found her. We lover her to pieces!
Charly: Adopted April 1, 2006: Hi, just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our "Charlie", which we adopted from you at the Petapalooza. We took him directly to the Buddy Bath, which he took quite well, and then two days later, had him groomed at Petsmart. We also scheduled a vet appt for him, which coincides with our other dog Dakota's appt. After a week together, they are best buddies already. We've had no "accidents" in the house, as we showed him the doggy door to the garage, which leads to the backyard, only one time and he took it from there. The one surprise he has given us, is that he is quite the jumper. He will jump to the top of the block wall in the yard, which is all of 5 & 1/2'. So now we're in the process of raising the wall, so we dont have to worry about him getting over. Linda will be sending you a couple of pix of him, altho when we bring the camera out, he doesn't like it. I suppose it's the flash. We feel like we were real lucky in getting to your booth, as we know he would have been gone pretty fast. Thanks again.
Dusty:Adopted June 2006: We adopted a black lab and named him Dusty. He is fabulous and the perfect addition to our family. He and our Beagle play and love one another. One person can easilty walk the two dogs and control them both. I was hoping he would bond with my son but as with all breathing things in our house I have another pal.. I love my dog. Thanks Alicia
Moofi:This is Moofi, I adopted him at 7 wks of ago from Knoah's Ark. He is going to be 3 in just a couple of days. He has brought so much love and joy into our home. He is a character, very needy, always has to be close. He loves to bark and give kisses. He has 2 very good friends, both shar peis. Moofi's mother was a shar pei, and we believe his other half may have been lab (has many similar traits/characteristics of labs). Hope you all enjoy his pictures.

Dakota:Over a year ago we were fortunate enough to rescue our dog Dakota from Knoahs Ark Pet Rescue. He fit right in to our family from the moment we got him and has been an integral part of our days ever since. Thank you Knoahs Ark for making our family complete! Attached is a picture of Dakota on the first day we got him and a picture of Dakota all grown up!
Max:I adopted Max from you in December of 2000 – he’s a very large German Shepherd that you had fostered with a family who gave him the name (from “one Maximum size dog”). He’s been my love and companion to my older lab mix even though the older guy would never really play with him. Anyway, the old guy is gone now, and I’d like a companion and play-mate for Max (and me). Although Max began as pretty submissive, he’s now dominant – but clearly the alpha in the pack. Thanks, Sherri

Moab: We adopted Moab (formerly Minnie) from Knoah's Ark about three months ago. She is a wonderful dog and we are very happy with her. She loves going for walks and is great with all people!

Brutus & Mia: Joan thanks for suggesting Mia. She is a wonderful dog. Both Brutus and Mia came from Knoah's Ark and we love them both very much.
