Volunteer Requirements: In general, volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Some exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances, so please contact us if there is any question. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes for safety reasons -- no flip flops, sandals, or other open-toed shoes. Volunteers will work under the coordination of a staff member of Knoah's Ark, and will need to follow the instructions provided for their safety and the safety of the animals.


 FOSTER:
We are looking for very special individuals that are willing to take on an older dog. An older dog makes a wonderful companion. Most older dogs knows their manners and are just in need of a loving home for their last years.
Several dogs we have are not fully ready to be adopted out because they need better socialization skills. We are in need of dedicated foster parents willing to give these dogs the love and attention they deserve.
